One day
30 MarOne day you will realise that material things mean absolutely nothing. All that matters is the well being of the people in your life & the good that you shall leave behind.
Marriage
30 MarAsalaam alaykum,
Halal intimacy.
I want you to still have these 7 pieces of advice.
1. For newlyweds: Some of the sahabah recommended you pray 2 rak’ahs with your new spouse to mark your first moment together . There is of course the prophetic Dua: “O Allah I ask you of his/her good and the good of what you created in him/her. I seek refuge in You from his/her evil and the evil of what was created in him/her.”
2. Before starting the act of intimacy, make this prophetic Dua,“Bismillaah, Allahumma jannibnaa ash-shaytana, wa jannib ash-shaytana maa razaqtanaa.”
“In the name of Allah, O Allah, keep the shaytan away from us and keep the shaytan away from what You have blessed us with.”
3. Note there are 2 events after which you are considered in a state of janabah (i.e. when ghusl is mandatory)…
i. When the two private parts touch
ii. When one has a wet dream
4. If after your act of intimacy, you decide to sleep or eat before making ghusl, it is recommended that you make wudu first.
5. Reciting or touching the Quran is not allowed while in the state of janabah.
6. When a marriage gets rocky, don’t isolate yourself. There is no shame in seeking counsel with trusted family, friends, and professional therapists.
7. Always turn to Allah in Dua for all your needs and complaints. Always be in a state of shukr for all your blessings.
May Allah (swt) bless you with a marriage filled with love and mercy.
Yours

Tahajjud
30 MarProphet (pbuh) said: “The Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?’” [Bukhari and Muslim]
